If you’re a WordPress developer or designer who cares about performance, flexibility, and clean code—Oxygen Builder has likely been on your radar. With the release of Oxygen 6, the builder takes a bold step forward, offering a completely revamped UI and smoother experience while still retaining what made it a powerhouse in the first place.
But don’t worry—Oxygen Classic isn’t going anywhere. Both versions are here to serve different needs.

What Is Oxygen Classic?
Oxygen Classic is the original interface that long-time users have come to love. It offers:
- Developer-level control
- Ultra-clean code output
- Full site editing without themes
- Deep integration with WordPress core, ACF, and WooCommerce
Classic remains incredibly powerful, especially for advanced users who prefer full manual control and a more technical workflow.
While it may feel dated compared to newer visual builders, many pros still choose Classic for performance-first projects and complex builds.
Introducing Oxygen 6: A Fresh Experience
With Oxygen 6, the team has introduced a modern interface designed to make workflows faster and more intuitive—without compromising on flexibility.
Here’s what’s new:
- New UI/UX – Sleek, updated design system that makes navigating the builder easier
- Improved Performance – Optimizations under the hood lead to faster builds
- Enhanced Tooling – Updated structure panel, visual controls, and settings layout
- Future-Ready Foundation – Built to support faster updates, more integrations, and evolving user needs
This version is ideal for designers who want visual clarity and developers who still need power and control.
